The entertainment world is tonight reeling from the news that former "voice of an angel" star Charlotte Church has announced she is pregnant with the baby of veteran comedian Ken Dodd.
Church, who celebrates her 22 birthday on 21st February said she was unfazed by the age difference between her and 81 year old Dodd.
"I always used to watch his show when I was a kid and I thought he was sexy even then." She said "I don't think age really matters when you love each other."
The couple met last August, when they met at a gala charity event held in Croydon.

"We became aware of an overpowering chemistry between us" said the octagenarian comedian, "it was instantaneous and mesmerising."
As the pair performed on stage, even audience members noticed sparks were flying.
"It was like dirty dancing only for real." said one disgruntled Dodd fan, 72, "You didn't really know where to look."
The couple consummated their love later that evening at a local Holiday Inn. The child, tentatively named Jasper if it is a boy or Mavis if a girl, was apparently conceived that night.
"I was overjoyed when I discovered I was pregnant." said the young singer, showing off her bump "I couldn't believe it."
The baby is due in April. The couple have no plans to wed.
