No-one was safe from the carnage

Chris Tarrant, recently arrested in a Nottingham curry house over charges of alleged assault, has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Chris, 70, merely decided to liven up the evening with a few japes from yesteryear in the spirit of the game show that made him - Tiswas.

In an interview with TheSpoof.com, Chris commented: "I just thought that the dreary curry house we were in could do with a bit of livening up! I therefore retired to the gents and donned one of my most famous outfits, 'The Phantom Flan Flinger!'

I then proceeded to run amok in the restaurant, flinging gateau's off the sweet trolley and, in the absence of baked beans, emptied the odd plate of curry over a few unfortunate victims' heads.

To finish off, and I'm sure you'll laugh when you recollect this, I performed my 'Dying Fly Dance'

All was going swimmingly, when unfortunately the police turned up and carted me off!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
