London - (ReUterus & Ass Mess): Famous American photographer Annie Leibovitz has been panned for her latest offering of a portrait of a naked Queen Elizabeth bathing in asses' milk, commissioned by the State of Texas to mark her visit to the US this week.
Leibovitz's previous portraits of Whoopi Goldberg, Demi Moore, John Lennon and Clint Eastwood - all naked, bound in ropes and bathing together in asses' milk - caused a bit of a stir some years back.
"So this time I left off the ropes," Leibovitz said today. "So what? Big deal!"
But at the Washington Post the paper's culture critic Henry Allen is outraged because the portrait has "all the personality of a FBI bust of an international Mafia mobster."
British critics however are said to be 'charmed' by the black and white portrayal of the Bush Fanily's puppet monarch which will feature on the cover of this month's Vanity Unfair magazine.
The picture will be unveiled in Washington DC on Saturday.
