Rob Schneider told a sad story related to him by a pastor from Britain. He did this on the Glenn Beck show. Beck, I believe, was once an Oompa Loompa living at Mar-A-Lago, churning out new sparkly colors of cocaine for Donny Junior.
Rob’s story told about the airmen of Britain during WW2 fighting Hitler, even though they were dying by the second. Humanity is coming out of the Dark Ages of Europe’s past, and that Adolf guy wants to send humanity back into the darkness. So those flyers have to keep flying, despite being shot down, in order to defeat fascism.
That was the basic Rob Schneider (Mr. Makin’ Copies, Mr. “You Can Do It”, Mr. Comedy Hisself) story.
Why is this funny? Rob and Glenn, I guess, are right-wing. Which means, one can then assume, that they are pro-Trump. And yet neither Rob nor Glenn seemed to realize that the story told was about people fighting against Trump-esque people, not for them.
Do Republicans know this? When they tell stories or praise people like American or other soldiers fighting against Hitler, or when they praise JFK, do they not know they’re rooting for their enemies? If Marjorie Taylor Greene or Lauren Boebert talk about the evils of slavery, and then throw hatred against the Texas wall keeping out them there Mexicans … do they not see the irony in the contrast?
In the irony comes the comedy. That’s why Rob is funny. Not because of anything he has done in the comedic acting field. Rob Schneider (if I haven’t said this before, I am now) is the Pauly Shore of the 1990s. He has been summed up. Now go away, Rob, and take your ‘logic’ and your sad story with you. Such a fame whore, like all SNL talentless talent.
