New Bugsy Malone film

Funny story written by Ed Parnell

Sunday, 25 February 2007

A film catching up on the Bugsy Malone story is being planned. Set seventy years later, the film sees Malone as an East End London gangster with a variety of henchmen.

Songs in the new feature include the titles: "Going to knife you now", "Going to knife you a little bit more" and "Got Meself a Concrete Kimono, with your name on the lapel".

Much has changed about the character over the years, the boyish good looks have gone and been replaced by a red nosed, balding hard man, using a variety of prostitutes for sordid and often unhygienic sexual acts, indulging in disgusting and degrading drug abuse and violent, rage filled serious organised crime.

Fortunately none of this has stopped him getting a Casino licence, and, after eighty thousand pounds go missing from his bank account, he can officially be called 'Lord Malone'.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
