Writer for The Spoof, Duff, is today facing one of his biggest fears when he goes to the dentist to have his teeth done.
Matters came to a head, when over the New Year period the writer was said to be in "desperate state" with pain from a tooth that he bottled out of having extracted some months ago.
Duff's long suffering wife told him:
"For god's sake stop bloody moaning and go and get the flamin' thing pulled you big girl. I don't know! Bloody men. They should try having kids!"
It's understood the humourist will only go on condition that he is given an 'I was a brave boy at the dentist' Postman Pat sticker and maybe a new CD from his wife for being such a big brave lad.
It is thought that the tooth fairy may well make a visit to Duff's house tonight
