Famous rapper and music producer Kanye West is now fully into the throes of parenthood, as his baby daughter North West quickly approaches the tender age of two.
"She is the light of my life. Every day that I see her, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with pride," stated the 21 time Grammy winning artist in a recent interview. "It's kind of like when I listen to the CD Late Registration in the car, and I'm like 'wow did I really create something that beautiful?'"
Mr. West has seen his fair share of triumphs throughout his illustrious career in the entertainment business, including six continuous Platinum albums, but claims that the birth of his daughter was still an impactful moment in his life.
"I just had to step back because I couldn't believe it. It's just really incredible that I could create something so beautiful, it was like Late Registration all over again," said West. "I mean it had to be one of the top 25 moments in my life. It might have even been top 20."
This has been a seminal few years for the 37 year old West, who has since gotten engaged and married to girlfriend Kim Kardashian, just 11 months after their daughter's birth. Kanye West's wife Kim is also famous in her own right- being the stepdaughter of Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, and starring in a video with rapper Ray J.
"Just getting to spend time with my wife and watch my daughter grow up is the greatest blessing I could ask for." West said clearly holding back a flood of emotion. "It's like watching Beyoncé's music video to Single Ladies for the first time, it's almost transcendental."
Despite all the responsibilities of being a new dad, West still finds time to produce new music. Currently he is working on a new album which he claims is so good, it's sure to "be a top 10 moment."
