CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico - The female star of the hit show The Vampire Diaries flew down to Cabo San Lucas to get away from the mad house world of LaLaLand for a few days.
Her boyfriend and fellow Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder could not make the Cabo trip as he was up in San Francisco shooting a commercial for Sudsalicious Beer, The Beer That Made Kalamazoo Kinda Famous.
Dobrev checked into The Whole Enchilada Hotel & Spa which is noted for having one of Northern Mexico's best piano players Manolo "El Ivory Tickler" Telemundo, Jr.
Both Dobrev and Somerhalder have been friends with Manolo for many years. In fact last Christmas Manny flew the couple down to Cabo where they were his guests at his annual Cabo Christmas Concert which was held at the Cerveza Corona Light Commemorative Bullring.
The opening act for the event was an up and coming new heavy metal band from Calexico, California, Hokey Pokey & The Okey Dokey Band.
Telemundo performed his latest hits including "The Senorita's Got It All Including A Fine-Looking Pair of Maracas," "The Mi Lapiz Es Azul Ballad," and "Oh Scarlett Johansson Call Me Mucho Maybe."
