NEW YORK CITY - After what seems like a year of trying out guest hosts, it appears that Live! With Kelly may just have found it's new co-host.
Kelly Ripa has stated that if the choice were totally up to her she would pick Anderson Cooper in a nanosecond.
The little blonde pixie (Kelly) has openly made it known to the shows executives that she feels that no one could do a better job of filling Regis Philbin's shoes than Cooper.
She smiled and said that she wants to dispel the rumors that her husband soap opera star Mark Consuelos has said that the reason why he likes Anderson is because he is gay and he would not have to worry about him putting the moves on his cute little munchkin of a wife.
Ripa also noted that Anderson has a great sense of timing and a fantastic sense of humor who probably knows more gay jokes than anyone else in the United States.
When Anderson was contacted by Tittle Tattle Tonight and asked for a comment he giggled and said that he would love to be able to sit next to Kelly on Live! With Kelly & Anderson and talk about celebrity news, political views, sports news, and make up tips with her.
SIDENOTE. The word on the streets of New York is that Donald Trump, who is also in the running for the co-host job, stated when he learned that Anderson could be the next co-host that he wants to see Cooper's birth certificate.
