After spending weeks denying that they were a couple and spending most of their time together when not recording duets, Taylor Swift told The Nashville Cats Music Magazine that "Yes we ARE a couple."
Why they would not admit it on national television on shows such as "Ellen" and to major music publications is still a mystery.
Apparently Efron hadn't known about Swift's revelation when asked the same question only a few hours earlier.
"No, we're not a couple...for the twentieth time. We enjoy performing together. That's all".
When asked what else they were performing together, Efron simply waved his hand and walked away.
Actually, the couple have been seen at several night clubs lately but refused to talk anymore about any budding romance.
Back to the interview in The Nashville Cats Music Magazine, Taylor stated that they wanted their privacy and she thought they were never going to be left alone if they continued to say they were not a couple.
Swift's last statement however, led back to some confusion.
"There are two of us, right? Doesn't that make us a couple?"
