A capacity crowd turned out for Whitney

Bobby Brown, the ex-husband of tragic music star Whitney Houston left her star studded funeral early last night after an argument about seating. In a statement released to CNNN he revealed "I was invited to the funeral but once seated I was asked to move three times by security and not permitted to sit with my daughter in the front row, so I left early to avoid causing a scene".

Last night an insider gave a different account to the spoof USA correspondent "Brown was invited and told he could bring two people, but turned up with an entourage of nine people and was told they could not be seated"

One of the people turned away with Brown, Peregrine Staffordhind later told friends "I bought the ticket on ebay for $100. I thought it was a fake, and was bidding for a laugh, but when I got an phone call from Brown himself I nearly fell out of my chair. He told me to meet him outside the church and he would get me in and seat me in the front row, sadly this was not the case so I never paid him the money".

The music world's biggest stars flocked to the highly-charged funeral in Newark, New Jersey, including Chaka Khan, Brandy, Roberta Flack, Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson.

Cousin Dionne Warwick officiated the ceremony, Alicia Keys wept as she remembered her friend, Stevie Wonder sang a gospel number, and the ghost of Elvis closed the ceremony with a moving speech saying Whitney is doing ok and they are planning on a duet, and possibly an album, which will be availbale on itunes shortly.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
