ROME--In what is seen as the most patriotic moment in Italian history since unification, the entire nation of Italy is rejoicing that Season 4 of Jersey Shore has ended.

It's unclear wheather "Giorno dei Vaffanculo" or "Fuck You Day" will be held on the first Thursday of each November or always on November 11 to commemorate the 11 agonizing episodes during which the crew of Shore embarrassed themselves and all Americans by drinking themselves into oblivion, calling each other every name in the book, and insulting the very people they imagine themselves emulating: Italians.

Said Michaela Ponticelli, a non-fan of the show, "If these Guidos left our nation yesterday, it wouldn't be soon enough. I'd much prefer 'Jersey Shore: Arctic Circle'."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
