WASHINGTON DC - (ABSNN) The ghost of Senator Robert Byrd (D) West Virginia, has appeared in the Senate Chambers on Capitol Hill to block the nomination of the wife of West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin (D).
The spector of Byrd claimed "I am only doing this because Joe Manchin does not bring to bear the same baggage as I did to the nomination."
Byrd, the longest serving senator in United States history, would likely have become President of the United States had not a half-black Democrat, Barack Obama, been elected--and had Senator Byrd not been a member of the Ku Klux Klan back in the day.
