US big three automakers, Moe, Larry and Curley told the spoof that they knew all along that if they made terrible cars and trucks long enough that they could undermine the Japanese car market:
"Victory is ours! The enemy never saw us coming. They believed that they had the upperhand but our industry's collapse created a tsunami that has reached all Asian and European shores. Unfortunately it has also inundated the entire American continent. Well, you lose some and then you make others into losers like you!"
