If you've got "it," flaunt "it."

(Roto-Rooters Wire Report) -- NEW YORK - Scientists at the Nothing-Better-To-Study Research Institute have announced that popular internet auction website eBay really is a source of anything imaginable.

"We were finally able to afford good, quality lab equipment to do actually do research," said Dr. Morton Wu, 41. He added "We're putting naming rights to the Institute for sale on there."

By the time their lab equipment arrived by DSL, the scientists had already conducted preliminary research. Previous items to have appeared on eBay include an air guitar, the German language, New Zealand, an aircraft carrier--the HMS Vengeance, a car once owned by Pope Benedict XVI when he was still Cardinal Ratzinger, and several California towns.

Unfortunately, the person selling New Zealand had no right to do so and the aircraft carrier was deemed "ordnance," so the sales were closed.

Nevertheless, Dr. Wu reports, one can still find just about anything on eBay. As of this writing they are still investigating the purchasing of German.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
