So that's why I met all those drunk polar bears in New York bars who kept telling me they were planning to see 'the old country'

Explains the time I asked a polar bear the way and he said "well, this wouldn't be the best place to start from."

There's a spoof or two in this, surely.

I was going for a hike in the arctic once and got lost.

Fortunately I ran into a polar bear and asked him how it was to the the next hamlet, it sat there in what appeared to be stunned silence so I started walking away.

As I started walking the bear shouted out half and hour.

I asked him why he didn't answer right away.

He said he didn't know how fast I walked.

Does anyone here know anything about fridges? My fridge is making huge whirring noises in the kitchen and I dont know what to do. And I am not talking about my gf. I am talking about my fridge and I am so worried because I went shopping and stocked it up. Are there any handy men and women out there?

Now I know why I keep seeing them on building sites.

I did think they'd escaped from the zoo.

You shouldn't have stocked it up. Fridges don't generally wear stockings.

Re Alex's fridge.

Is it a Beko?

Only I read a report that some of them have caught fire recently due to an electrical fault.

I'm not kidding here.

If it's a Beko, call or email the manufacturer, or the dealer who sold it to you.

Sorry, don't know any more than that.

Regards

Skoob.

Ay, but the white furry beasts picked a home where they would never run out of ice for their Tullamore Dew. It was a strategic migration.

...never test a polar bear by saying "Bite me"....saw that in our upcoming
Alaska Travel Guide..."Bugger Off" probably won't do either....

No but we saw one down the Stalin's Arms one Saturday night. At least I think it was a Polar Bear. Those Siberian women are pretty scary when they let their hair down.
