FLIGHT attendant calls passenger names, grabs two beers and escapes on slide



He grabbed the intercom and said: "To the passenger who called me a mother ------, ---- you.

"I've been in the business 28 years. I've had it. That's it."

Mr Slater then activated the emergency exit and slid down the inflatable slide on to the tarmac.

Every place of business should have an escape hatch like that!

At least he didn't take out a gun and shoot everyone in sight.

Great link QM. He looks a bit like a lad who doesn't mind taking it down the chute once in a while. No mention of lubricants though, unless you include the two beers grabbed on the way out. The residency in Queens was the final give away... Not that there is anything wrong with that, however.


On a side note, hope the Skoob's back is up to par for the hefty glass lifting this week. Sounds like an odd, but great group of collaborators at the UK writers summit. Cheers!

Well, sincere best fishes to you and the gang. Bummed to have missed the opportunity. Next year however, looks like we'll be doing our 25th somewhere around Clare County in late Summer. Not quite the big island, but close.
