Ok, we've had the lists of people we miss.

But what about those still here.

1 Wife (has to be!)

2 Leonard Cohen

3 Tom Waits

4 Roy Hodgson (he's a football-soccer to you yanks-manager)

5 John Prescott (many, many spoofs thank you)

1. my children (i refuse to list one over the other; favoritism is just plain wrong)

2. my dad (once a daddy's girl, always a daddy's girl)

3. ozzy and sharon osbourne (the original heavy metal god, and his queen, without whom we would not have known him half as well)

4. alice cooper (the original shock rocker)

5. johnny depp (because he likes to have a good laugh at himself, too, and for obvious reasons)

Oh, Johnny Depp for obvious reasons. Acting talent? Wit and wisdom?

Only making a noise because the wife likes him too. He looks a little bit like me. If he ate more. And got hit by a bus.

i like george foreman's grills; not an ounce of fat on 'em!

what about all the little george jr's? doesn't he have about 9 of them, all named george?

i love george of the jungle! he's much hotter than tarzan, and ursala is a cutie pie, too

while i admit george brett is a hell of a player, my heart belongs to big mac, mark mcgwire......that's what a baseball player should look like!

but i will not dignify your number one slot with a response.....

Hey Birbee!

You forgot Stan! The Doncaster double-glazing salesman! Man was a legend. He even approached Jesus when he was fasting in the desert, and Jesus said:

"Get thee behind me Stan!"

D'oh, how could I forget Stan?

He's retired now you know, lives in Rossington on the outskirts of Doncaster.

Still entertains people in the local pub with his stories of past exploits.

Thanks for reminding me Skoob............

Earl, your intentions were good, but our colleagues here have decided to make it a mega piss-take! (What else should we expect!)

I'll start with 10

1)My Missus (to put up with me she must be a hero!)
2)My Kids
3)My Granddaughter, EMMA
4)Eric Cantona, the greatest most underrated footballer on the planet, enfant terrible, rebel and just the BIZ!
5)Killing Joke/all of them
6)Sir Alex Ferguson
7)Paul Scholes (one of the few honest footballers left!)
Muhammed Ali, legend
9)Wayne Rooney (last of a dying breed of street-footballers!)
10)WAN-KIN-DIK, my earthquake damaged, half starved, one - wheeled rickshaw pulling Chink slave (a hybrid figment of my imagination whom I turn to when I need someone to kick the shit out of, he'll do!)

Oh, no. My intentions were for it to be one huge piss take. And I'm delighted with the result!

Both of them!

Favorite Living People:

1. Family members (wife, kids, grandkids, parents, siblings-except my sister the "holier than thou bitch", cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.)
2. Jesus (I don't consider him among the dead)
3. Roger Staubach (favorite all time football player and a really nice guy).
4. Orson Scott Card (favorite living writer)
5. Andy Rooney (I just love his 60 Minutes commentary)
6. Oscar the Grouch (he is too alive! I also love his optimistic outlook on life)
7. The Blue Collar Comedy Tour comedians (I've seen every one of them but Engvall in person and they make me laugh myself silly)
8. Anne McCaffery (because she's my favorite living female writer and I love her dragon series)
9. The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (Do I really have to explain?)
10. The guy that got to throw the first shovelful of dirt on Michael Jackson's grave. I'd pay to trade places with him! (of course, I'd probably throw shovels of natural fertilizer.)

I guess now you've had to move Teddy Kennedy from your living to your dead list (to join J. Edgar Hoover).

There's not a Kennedy in my lists, though I briefly entertained the idea of putting JFK on my favorite dead list. I like doing things, too, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.

And just because I'm against something doesn't mean I'm in favor of its exact opposite - I'm also against obesity, but that doesn't mean I want to starve people.

What I like most about Ted is the respite his death has provided me as other spoof writers focus their destructive negative energy on his legacy while virtually ignoring me.
