Given his track record so far, what gift(s)do you think Obama gave His Holiness?

Aye,Aye Cook! She's off for a quick cruise, then back to you before heading across the pond. We're on her Aug.30, arriving s.hampon Aug 5, sliding by Portsmouth around 6.am. Staying till the evening and sailing on the tide to Hamburg, then off to Norway, then back to Hamburg and hanging out in the beer halls for 4 days before flying back to the colonies.

I am warming up by humming Lili Marleen (Das Lied eines jungen soldaten auf der wacht)......

This is a working holiday of course, as Morse is on the international trail of a bunch of real swarmy buggers misusing the Spoof....Mark just told me to submit the chits and he'd have Gordo sign off on them for me....

I'll try to keep a spy journal, and they'll be incriminating pix of course....

If you can get mandarin I shall be impressed.

Failing that clementine or satsuma will do.

Earl,

Between you, me and the gatepost, I posted my 653rd Spoof news article today. That means I'm 13 off 666.

I've heard that strange things occur when you hit that number.

I've asked other writers on the forum but their lips are zipped.

I'm worried that maybe Lowton will materialise in the middle of the night and offer me some cheese on toast as some kind of twisted reward.

If you read this Mr Lowton, my preference for cheese on toast is Red Leicester, followed by Double Gloucester, followed by Mature English Cheddar. That stringy Mozzarella is nice on pizzas but crap on toast.

But please don't show up in the middle of the night. I'll make my own.

Cottage Cheese, Lancashire Cheese and Cheshire Cheese are lovely on sandwiches, but not particularly compatible with toast.

Now then...

Where am I?

Regards

Skoob.
