I'm doing a story and need a simple answer.

In the U.S.A., when I want to buy tickets to a concert or sporting event, I generally go to Ticketmaster (both an on line ticket service and a ticket service that has locations all over the country).

What is the equivilant of Ticketmaster in England?

Some dodgy geezer on Gillespie Road at Arsenal who'll sell you a ticket, take your money, then disappear into the bookies to get the ticket. Or some guy on Chester Road in Manchester who dances in a shifty manner with better moves than Michael Jackson ever had, all the while complaining that he can't make a profit.

On a serious note, try getmein.com, but bear in mind that these people aren't called 'scalpers' for nothing. You'll pay way over the odds.

I thought that the name was perfect for Michael Jackson, the famous "anal intruder" of little boys.

Get Mein.com could also be a Jewish/German divorce deal company...

(as in Get (Gett?) = Jewish divorce) etc...
