Not this kind of ticket, stupid

Promoters of the postponed (and now cancelled) Michael Jackson tour in England have announced that they will not be able to refund any of the ticket money. Those holding tickets for the concerts, cancelled due to the death of Jackson, should "keep them as souveniers because they might be worth big money some day."

The former "King of Pop" announced a concert tour to re-enliven and restart his career. The announced 50 shows (all in the United Kingdom) sold out the first day that tickets were available.

Now, there will be no refund on those very expensive tickets.

One ticket tout said: "We understand Jackson already spent the money entertaining little boys. The Vienna Boys Choir made a special tour of Southern California earlier this year, and he sponsored that with the ticket money from his shows here. We have also been told that all of the Little League Baseball teams within 50 miles of his home have new uniforms (with snap-off pants) because of Michael's generosity and your ticket purchases.

Persons wishing to sell their ticket stubs may post them on E-bay. Some fans in America are already paying five times face value (and they don't understand the Euros to Dollars converstion rate, so you can make a little more off of the gullible ones).
