National children's support service Childline is looking for people from across South Yorkshire to sign up for a fundraising feat.

Organisers of The Big Skydive, which takes place at airfields across the country on Saturday, October 13, is looking for people to sign up to jump at one of the sites, which include the Yorkshire coast town of Bridlington.

Nigel Hague, aged 83, and my father, completed a charity skydive last year and he said: "I really enjoyed the challenge, it was thrilling! I would recommend it to anyone no matter their age."

Just a bit sad I suppose that my own father feels the need to risk his life to raise money for charity...
