Most democratically elected governments face crises, of varying seriousness, during their tenure.
When challenged, they more often than not resort to half-truths and careful manipulations in an attempt to put a spin on events, aware of the need to contain the damage and shift popular sentiment.
If their efforts prove unsuccessful, heads sometimes roll.
But the nepotists always win in the end.
They will pay for this... eventually.
