Paul Scholes has said to the press:
That he would have considered playing for England at Euro 2012 but was never asked by Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson. (Me) It was flattering to be talked about. But I wasn't asked, so it means nothing.

I wonder what he was really trying to say? That I should have picked him? Why?

The same can be said of any player eligible... or why did I take Wayne Rooney along when he was under suspension?... mined you I asked myself that after the competition!
