Robin Hood - My Fake Diary
Tuesday, 28 August 2012
I've just got around to watching the film 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves',
They talk a different language, shave, wear women's cloths, have leather saddles on their horses, either some of the scenes take place over several years, or the leaves of Sherwood Forest switch instantly between autumn-brown and spring-green, when Marian is embroidering at home, she is singing to herself "Le chant des oiseaux" that wasn't even written then, during the religious service we see noblemen and women sitting on benches - benches were not introduced in churches until the 19th century… oh dear!
