I noticed that a Nottingham man, Bartholomew Utterwaith asked his local vicar last Sunday, to explain to him why although he's not perfect my a long way, he's always done his best, been honest, kind to others, obliging, punctual, and helpful - he's been made redundant three times through no fault of his own, gone deaf, had a hernia, prostate and bladder cancer, lost his wife, arthritis, then went into heart failure.

I loved the Father's answer...

"At least you've hobbled here to St John's to ask me this question, many would not have, and they would never have known or understood - now help me move these chairs will you..."
