Met this old bloke. Knew him from Profumo days. He said he thought I was dead. I replied that I thought he was dead.

We wondered if we were in heaven or hell.

'Hardly heaven' I said 'I'd fancy a different companion!'

'You've had a pretty good companion' he said.

So I asked him: 'How on earth did you know that?'
