This was on the Livingstone Daily site, I thought it was really good too:

A letter writer is a "bit peeved" because former President George W. Bush is blamed, but he is blamed for the wrong reasons.

Of course it wasn't Bush's fault. It was a team effort requiring the buy-in of lots of Republicans and a few Democrats in Congress to create the mess that greeted President Barack Obama at his inauguration Jan. 20, 2009 - an unemployment rate of 7.2 percent, and rising (to 10 percent by October 2009); a deficit of $1.4 trillion and a national debt of $10.7 trillion (an increase since 2001 of $6.1 trillion).

It wasn't all Bush's fault; he had much help!
