The Bank of England deputy governor Paul Tucker repeatedly told MPs that he had not been encouraged to lean on Barclays to cut its submissions.
That sort of blew apart my campaign to prove that Ed Balls was one of a series of senior Labour figures who tried to "fiddle Libor".
Paul Tucker will have to go!
