The US and human rights groups have called on Libya to give a fair trial to my ex-intelligence chief after he was deported by Mauritania.

The US said Abdullah al-Senussi must be tried "in full compliance with Libya's international obligations".

Libya's farcical PM insisted Mr Senussi would face trial "according to international standards for human rights".

Still sticking their noses into Libya's business I see!
