It was a great honour for me to carry the Olympic torch through Birmingham at the weekend.

I say a great honour, I was pleased to be involved with the Olympics and the torch, but Birmingham? Really? That was the best they could offer me?

Not Westminster, or Stratford near the actual station?
Birmingham is a nice place - when it's shut.
The crowds don't throw underwear at me during concerts, they throw their UB40 books...
