Hey I was in a film once! It was a documentary about London life made around 1980 and I was filmed coming up the stairs with my solicitor at Temple tube station on the way to a meeting with a nice barrister gentleman who somehow later got me off 4 charges at Kingston Crown Court despite the fact I was as guilty as sin

Here's what The Times film critic had to say about the piece:

"This documntary about London life was utter shite from start to finish and I vomited violently right throughout.

The only highlight was a bit where a handsome young mechanic dude and his brief came up the stairs at Temple underground station.

This kid will go far in my opinion and if he doesn't one day become a writing compo winning legend that pisses over all the other writers and wins by a country mile I'll eat my own typewriter"

Absolutely true story that is folks. Oh yes.

I saw that documentary Danton, and I have to say, it was a belter! I well remember watching you grip the rail and thinking, that boy will go far. And you did, all the way to Wormwood Scrubs. I did write to the Governor to get you an early release but he wanted you there to do the prison van MOT's, I said that was wrong, and he replied, "Not at the rates he is charging me". I am glad to see you have now reformed and winning a few writing compo's.

Would you like to be in my next film? "Nissan Main Dealer, an African story" Its about an African terrorist that stops maiming and killing, and becomes a chip shop owner who's son becomes a ballet dancer, to stop his dad from becoming a redundent Miner.
