My sentiments exactly. Which is why I shall remain sleeping. Or, just nodding off, for a bit, while waiting for the light to change.

At one time we were all old enough to know, yet still young enough not to know any better. Thank God (or, whoever is screening his/her calls these days) some of us can somehow pretend that to be, more or less, still the case.

HONK! HONK, HONK!

"HEY F&%$HEAD, MOVE ALREADY, WILL YA??!!!"

Yeah, sure...whatever you say. Ok, so....where was I?

Oh...now I'm really confused.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, except that saying it is difficult, expecially under he said-she said circumstances, where saying it is hard to say.

I don't know, I just can't say.

In the best Bill Kennedy (or, Sagebrush Shorty and/or Poopdeck Paul, for that matter) tradition...well said.

Now there's a WKBD TV-50 Throwback reference. At least I think that's where the chain smoking, barely sober or at least highly uninterested BK used to hang his hat.........

Nicely done.

I would have gone with the more appropriate news, weather & sports route, what with a shout-out to Dick Westerkamp, Carl Cederberg, Sonny Eliot & Dave Diles, but Rita Bell, Johnny Ginger and, as usual, George Pierrot stepped in and told me to cool it.

Lucky for me (and you, I suppose) Mr. Belvedere was too busy doing a bang up kitchen remodel job in either Warren or Center Line. Sometimes it's hard to tell.

Meanwhile, take care, and see ya next time at Mickey Shore's Tape Shack, on Woodward just north of the zoo!

j/p.
