"Surface Machen, Schnell!"

Portsmouth UK: A World War II U-boat, the U-1020, surfaced off of Portsmouth. The German craft was escorted into the harbor by HMS Victory.

Members of the British science establishment, MI6 agents and translators were summoned to interrogate Captain Walther Schwieger and his crew. The questioning went on for many hours. The sailors appeared to know nothing about Hitler's suicide, the cold war, the Russians, East and West Germany, or the Americans landing on the moon.

The UK scientists concluded that the U-boat must have been caught in a time warp, where 65 years was like an instant to the crew. The science team was ready to call it a day. The senior MI6 agent then rapidly asked Walther, what he thought of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. "Ach, ein toller Vorbau!" (A great set of knockers.) Gotcha, old chap!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
