The New York Knicks announced today that they will not be completing the season.
"We give," said disgraced President and Head Coach of NBA's most embarrassing team Isaiah Thomas after another thumping by the visiting Los Angeles Lakers.
Thomas cited a disturbing yet, according to many, justifiable development among Garden fans.
"Some of our more devout fans are starting to get angry in the stands," continued Thomas referring to what seems to be the Garden's new favorite chant of "I will kill you" which doesn't seem to be directed at anyone in particular leading many to speculate that Knick fan's have become so infuriated with disappointment that they have become blood-thirsty.
Also, Garden officials have started new promoting techniques like machete-night and Uzi-night that some players think may be adding to problems.
"Shit yeah we're scared man, they've got goddamned machetes," said a visibly shaken Stephan Marbury after the game.
"In addition to the blood lust," continued Thomas "it hurts when your own announcer sounds a rimshot after every attempt by our guys."
Thomas is talking about the demoralizing yet fan-favorite drum flurry usually heard after one-liners by a standup comedian on stage. The announcer is now using it after most attempts and at the end of each game.
