Guantanamo Bay, Cuba - (Ass Mess): A senior military judge told Pentagon top brass today that the Guantanamo Bay detention camp is nothing more than a re-invented Spanish Inquisition run along the same barbaric lines that were outlawed by civilised countries over 500 years ago.
In throwing out war crimes charges against a Canadian prisoner His Honor Colonel Peter Brownback said Pentagon officials had better rethink their Justice Department advice because it sucked.
"What we have here is President Bush and Karl Rove inventing legalese charges along Spanish Inquisition lines that should have died out along with the bubonic plague," Brownback said.
"Either we uphold the rules of due process or we we certify the President.
"Choice seems simple in my opinion."
