Annapolis - (ReuterUs): The State of Maryland has thrown out proposals that would have banned truckers from displaying naked human breasts, buttocks and genitalia on their vehicle mudflaps after religious bigots protested that highways were being polluted with sexual filth.
This is good news for the transport accessories industry that also manufactures fake bull testicles and other anatomically explicit vehicle decorations some of which come attached to favorite politician dolls.
The current best seller is the recently released Patrick FitzGerald doll depicting the bullish DC prosecutor who just screwed Dick Cheney's aide Scooter Libby on four counts of perversion and perjury.
Maryland State Delegate LeRoy Myers Jr had proposed the banning measure because he said that children were often embarrassed to see the explicit vehicle ornaments, especially on long highway journeys where hundreds of trucks could be seen sometimes displaying 'this sort of flith'.
But his proposal to ban them and fine drivers $500 a pop was laughed out of court by the Democrat majority.
