J-Lo's bottom has started proceedings in a New York court to file a joint suit against the Levi jeans company and Ms Lopez herself.
The booty-liscious derriere has told friends that it's fed up being crammed into jeans that are at least one size too small and that consequently it is being put under too much pressure.
A source close to the star butt said:
"J-Lo's taking too many chances with her tush and if she ain't careful something's gonna blow!"
Miss Lopez denies the charge and insists that her buns are being treated like Royalty and want for nothing. She told our showbiz reporter:
"Those damn things get exactly what they ask for and there ain't no way that they're getting a bum deal. You should see their contract rider! It's even worse than mine!"
Rumours have abounded for months now after Ms Lopez was seen in the toilets of a top LA restaurant having a stand up row with her ass. Further rumours are suggesting that an Mpeg of the incident, shot on a friend's mobile phone, is surfacing all over the internet.
A spokesman for the Diva's record company told us:
