Police are still looking for turd street

Residents of a Coventry suburb awoke yesterday to the shock news that they had been flushed down the toilet over two years ago, following the death of a pet goldfish.

This news came just two days after a Coventry woman was caught putting a cat into a wheelie bin on CCTV.

Residents of stoke green were said to be 'reeling' after the story came to light.

Two years ago, Mr Isaac Hunt won a goldfish at the local fair, but sadly the fish died a few days later.

When Mr Hunt gave 'Jaws the goldfish' a sailors burial in his outside toilet, he inadvertently also disposed of the whole of the stoke green area of Coventry at the same time.

News of this was only exposed after Mr Hunt's outside toilet was removed as part of a kitchen extension, and builders found shoppers wandering around Ball Hill in the subterranean U-bend.

Stoke Green's Labour councillor Mr Seymour Uppit has now taken this to parliament in the hope that some light can be shed on the situation and steps taken to ensure that this cannot be repeated anywhere else across the country.

Cllr Uppit told us today "I cannot believe that in this day and age somebody could be careless enough to discard a whole suburban area of a city and nobody notices it.

We cannot allow this to happen again, and we have alerted the authorities to the potential danger faced by Nuneaton residents, as in the light of this tragedy, people are starting to notice tell tale signs that they also might be in a similar predicament." Police are investigating the disappearance of Turd Road, Stockingford, Nuneaton after complaints of quietness at night from local residents, although they have ruled out a link between the two events

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
