In response to leaked emails (Nov. 2009, so-called "Climategate") that tended to discredit the work of many IPCC scientists it was announced today that the entire climate data set has been reviewed by an independent organization and the data has been verified in its entirety.
The verification process establishes that the conclusions in the IPCC report are to be fully trusted. The painstaking work took place, reportedly, over a 10-day period from December 1st to December 5th where scientists worked 36-hour days.
The monumental task was sponsored by the New Sensible Truthful Climate League (formerly the Warmist Alarmist League). Its spokesman, Lord Hyde D. Decline of East Anglia noted, "We are now very satisfied that all data used in the IPCC reports to the United Nations point to Anthropogenic Global Warming."
He noted that the verification work of the group will withstand inevitable worldwide scrutiny, "We have many master debaters in our group, and they will hold their own with the best out there. This tempest is leading to an anti-climax."
The group also confirmed that the correct factors were used within the computer programs to achieve the global warming results that were anticipated.
