Passed 'N Dead.

The corpses of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore are to do a one off special show at the Edinburgh festival fringe this year.

A spokesperson for the Fringe said in a press conference yesterday "Having the corpses of Pete 'N Dud do a show here is a very big coup for the festival. The fringe for the last few years has been somewhat shoddy in regards to the quality of the acts."

Local residents of Edinburgh are said to be very happy that two wonderful comedians such as Pete 'N Dud are to be performing their new show "Not quite live!" in Edinburgh as for the last few years acts such as Nicholas Parsons, Jeffery from Rainbow, Rolf Harris and other decidedly crap acts infiltrating the fringe thanks to students that have nothing better to do than pay homage to fifth rate acts.

A Mr Stephen Croy, an Edinburgh resident for 35 years said to a reporter from The Spoof:

"it's really good to see Pete 'N Dud are coming to do the fringe this year. I watched Dan Tupolski last year and even a corpse would be funnier than he was."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
