According to a new study that comes self-assembly in MDF from Ikea, graffiti artists are swapping spray cans for lopping shears. Now the way to leave your mark or tag is to prune a tree or clip back an untidy hedge.

Former graffiti artist Clipz, real name Quentin Fanshawe, told TheSpoof "Yo, I'm walking down the ghetto streets of Dorking when I see a neatly pollarded sycamore. I think, yo, my homie Tope is in the 'hood".

But not everybody is happy with the change. Neighbour Mrs Doris Trout, 87, said "This used to be a really rundown area. Now with all these kids running round cleaning things up property prices have doubled. Local people can't afford to live here no more"

But Clipz is unrepentant "Yo, she don't know what time it is. Or what day come to that. Now, yo, like, where's my m****rf***ing strimmer?"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
