A former Post Office telephone box in Kensington has gone on the market with a one million pound price tag.

The 4 square feet red phone box designed by Giles Gilbert Scott and standing by the public toilets in Kensington High Street, has already received a number of serious offers according to the selling agents, Knife Fork and Cutlery.

"The superb ceiling height provides a range of development opportunities" sales manager Don Deep told The Spoof "and the box's proximity to the gents rules out the need for a bathroom or toilet".

According to the Halifux, a desperate shortage of homes coming on to the market, exacerbated by the introduction of the Home Information Pack, has caused a 300% leap in the average house price across the nation in the last week.
