Shamed celebrity Jade Goody, today visited the Indian Parliament to formally apologise for her outrageous behaviour toward Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty, and to the Indian people in general. Parliament was suspended briefly to allow time for her to meet with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Earlier she had visited her perfume factory where she met the workforce. 'It's not the bad cookin that makes 'em thin' she said. It's workin 19 hour-a-day shifts in my effin sweatshop'.
Later this month she has been invited to meet Indian President Dr Abdul Kalam for talks on building further economic bridges following the remarkable success of her perfume sales. The product is still being bottled in India but has now been re-marketed as a toilet cleaner under the brand name of 'Jade's fluid'.
Meanwhile Jade is beginning a tour of India as the guest of the Indian Tourist Board, and making a documentary about India for Living TV. 'I'm really lookin forward to it' commented Jade. 'I'm gonna see everyfink and show the Inglish people just what India's really like. There's loads of stuff 'ere what we've never even heard of - but we'll probably start off with somefink simple like the Pyramids'.
