The Florida Gators football team could lose the services and talent of their most valuable player during the upcoming Alabama game for the SEC Championship or for the National NCAA Tournament Championship.
Plus, it will not be due to an injury!
One of the Gators best was arrested Monday night for DUI.
Although it was not Tim Tebow but probably the Tim Tebow on the defense, defensive MVP, Carlos Dunlap.
Gainseville, Florida Police Department busted the defensive superstar early Tuesday morning when they saw his car stopped at an intersection, while the light had turned green. When the officer approached the car, he found Dunlap asleep, slumped over the wheel of his car.
That would be a key loss for Florida because Carlos Dunlap was the defensive MVP of last year's national championship game.
Florida police say Dunlap failed a field sobriety test, refused to take a breath test and was hauled into the station where he was booked and later released.
This comes only days before the big Alabama game.
Thus far, Florida football coach, Urban Meyer has not announced whether Dunlap will play for the team or not.
