Its true, the MGB retro will be on the assembly line by summer. All the same fun and all the same idiosyncrasies are build into the new B. You want over steer, Lucas wiring, no airbags, manual everything, you get it with the new MGB. Gone is the 1890 cc, valve adjustment every 5 miles, and air thingy for emissions.
Toyota, hurting from the big recall, is dumping Prius engines like crazy and MG grabbed 1000 of them for pennies. Its 60's technology married with 21st century power. All those idle MG assembly line workers are queueing up to come back for a short stint and big reunion. Only 1000 will be made which will guarantee collectors item status.
