Save the planet-buy a car!

Environmental groups have welcomed the announcement of the newest 'green car', the Citroen Scribble.

The new car from the French company will be the most environmentally friendly vehicle on the planet. The Scribble will have a zero carbon footprint as it produces no greenhouse gas emissions at all.

A Citroen spokesman told us that this vehicle will revolutionise the car industry.

"Oui, this new car is a stripped down version of our Picasso. Imagine that as a complete painting; well the Scribble is the sketch before the oils hit the canvas."

I asked Monsieur Grenouille to explain the science behind the revolution.

"Well as I said already you ignorant non- French person it is a sketch!"

I told him I understood the metaphor but could he enlighten us to the actual technology that makes this new car so Eco-efficient.

"It is no metaphor you fool. The car is a sketch, how do you say in your crappy English excuse for a language, ah yes a drawing."

I was aghast to hear this, was it Joke?

"No it is no Joke, I am French and have no sense of humour whatsoever. It is real. Our new Citroen is a drawing. You go to your dealership, ask him for the car, pay your ten thousand Euros and he scribbles a car on a napkin. No greenhouse gases, no carbon monoxide a perfect car."

Monsieur Grenouille assured me a deluxe version of the Citroen Scribble would be available soon. It will come with optional filled in crayon colours and the ability for the owner to go 'brummm brummm' as he pushes it along.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
