Algeria is going to sell a lot of its sand to the UK which is getting higher and higher sea levels. Its so high that it will soon be under water!
Global Warming is a thing caused by humans. Its the climate changing and weather changing. The world is getting warmer and the ice is melting quickly. The sea level is going up and lots of places are sinking.
So the British government has decided to raise the level of the land as well but there is a problem because it does not have enough sand.
Thats why Algeria is helping! Mr Gordon Brown has ordered millions of buckets of sand to throw on Britains beaches so that the sea cant go any further into the countryside.
He said: "Now our beaches will be nice and clean!"
