Fans of The Who are presently engaged in a bidding war on Ebay for the lost lyrics from the song "Substitute".

The words scrawled on the back of a Kung Fu Panda toy were discovered in a Happy Meal by the vendor who wishes to remain anonymous. At the time of writing the price had shot up to £2.47 with still a day to go.

You can judge for yourself if the price is right, as we have managed to acquire them.....

Substitute John Entwistle version

I think pros and coke go good together
I hope her whips are made of leather
Got a prostitute from a pimping guy
I look pretty fit, but my pulse is high
The going rates are all complicated
She'll get her cash once we've copulated, yeah

Substitute cash for gak
Shes gone and really bruised my sack
I did some white, and my hoe is black
I'm leaving here in a black plastic sack

Substitute Pete Townshend version

I think men and kids look good together
You think my face is made of leather
But I downloaded porn from another guy
I use Mastercard, and my bills are high
The photographs you see are all complicated
I looked at them while I masturbated, yeah

Substitute, my lies for fact
Outside school in a grubby mac
I look all thin and my vice is kids
The police have been and took my vids

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
