Burma was conquered, in 1824, by Britain, but it became independent in 1948. Eric Blair, or rather George Orwell, whose 1984 is precisely implemented in certain countries, served in Burma for five years; the result of this experience is his novel 'Burmese Days' (1934) and the essays 'A Hanging' (1931) and 'Shooting an Elephant' (1936).

In 1962, General Ne Win led a coup d'état and ended the democratic rule. Thus Business, media, production etc all came under government control.

From 1964 until 1988, Burma became one of the world's most impoverished countries. Next, Burma put some Buddhism in the mortar and pounded it with some Marxism nonsense, and with it he ran the economy of Burma. Note: This mix is applicable to other religions, as well!

Then, came up some protests, the victims of which were as usual students.

In 1990, for the first time, an election was held. Aung San Suu Kyi's party won 392 out of a total 489 seats. Ever since, Aung has been under house arrest. Long live the Queen!

On 4 May 2009, an American, John Yettaw, swam across the lake [ Note: No insinuations!] and broke into Aung San Suu Kyi's [guarded] house and remained there for two memorable nights. Consequently, Aung Suu Kyi had to pay the price for the pleasant night. She was sentenced to an additional 18 months of house arrest.

If this Mr. American had not broken into her house, Suu Kyi's current house arrest would have ended on 27 May 2009. [Don't be a fool!] British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, [the proprietor], stated: "This is a purely political sentence designed to prevent her from taking part in the regime's planned elections next year." Actually, Gordon, while making that statement, five times dropped his lower jaw for one second each time and then mechanically resumed his assertion!

However, John Yacht-tow, the broad shoulder American patriot, on TV, looked like any champion swimmers. On the other hand, Aung looked as usual slim and relaxed- a happy smile on her face. Does that smile send a message or is it simply a mild satisfaction out of mismatched competition between her and the generals? It seems man, God's own image, can find various ways to amuse himself, for instance, being watched!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
